The line Briko Katana

The line Briko Katana includes various items for the summer season, all coordinated with each other. We have sweaters, jackets and gloves anti wind and all the accessories to create a perfect fully coordinated in style and colour, suitable both for use road and Mtb.

The glove on test

The glove Katana is characterized by the palm of the hand with abundant gel inserts and anti-slip fabric that improves with the handlebars. The back fabric is breathable and do not miss the area wipers sweat. The cut is anatomically wrist on to better follow the line of the hand and not annoy. The closure with velcro is wide and allows you to tighten the glove for good. It is available in the colours of Katana line (white, yellow and black) in all sizes from XS to XXL. The weight detected with our instrumentation in size L is of 65 grams.

Road test

The glove Katana is well made, with quality fabrics and soft, good overall finish. The cut anatomical avoid discomfort in the wrist and the large end can make good glove hand. The interior is comfortable. Most attention will have noticed a weight content, certainly due to the fabrics used and the wide area in this gel on the palm. Among reduce weight and increase comfort Briko preferred the second way. In this, however, has been successful, because the comfort of this product is the highest level. The palm of the hand in anti-slip fabric facilitates the handlebars and gel inserts enhance comfort, allowing a valid and effective absorption of shock and vibration. Both road mtb that this behaviour is very well noticeable. Especially in Mtb, have also the advantage of protecting the hand from shots and accidental collisions with branches and vegetation as well as to protect as much as possible in the falls (experienced as well ...). The only defect, when you inevitably favours comfort and safety, the weight is high and slightly less breathability than other products. The advantages in terms of comfort and security, the choices made by Briko are, however, undeniable.

Conclusions

The glove Katana has in fact proved to be an excellent product. Made of high-quality material has a comfort, thanks to the fabrics used and the gel inserts, excellent. The resistance of the tissues, then, allows an effective protection of the hand from damage in Mtb. Useful, as always, the portion of the back of the glove fitted with wipers sweat perfect with velcro closure. The only flaw is just the weight and not exceptional breathability. Both these aspects are determined, however, the will to choose and adopt solutions that favour the comfort and safety. A good glove, especially for Mtb, for comfort and protection of the hand.
