A complete hot and ideal in cold days

Complete Briko Vertigo consists of a jacket and bib and brace and recommended for temperatures between -3 and -10 degrees. The jacket we tested is the model Climate, heavier suits for lower temperatures, but exists also a less heavy version.

The Jacket:

Briko Vertigo Climate is available in sizes starting from S to 3XL in the combination of graphics that you see in the picture, black and red with white inserts, or on a white or red. The jacket is made on Dynamo 3, a triple-layer fabric, water and wind resistant breathable. The neck is lined with fleece, but you can adjust the width of wrist and neck. On front the zip is oblique. Is present a front pocket, closed with zipper, and a rear center, always with zip closure. Then, there are two pockets without zip. In life there is an elastic coating with silicone and are inserted into different refractive material to enhance visibility passive. In size L has a weight, detected with our instrumentation, of 460 grams.

The overalls:

The overalls Briko Vertigo (exact name Vertigo DY BIB & BRACE) is made Dynamo 3 fabric (woven triple layer windproof, waterproof and breathable) and Thermofit, fabric thermal, breathable and elastic. The braces are made of perforated fabric. The bottom is SilverDry, an antibacterial pad, thanks to the microfiber with silver ions, and breathable. Road test

Briko Vertigo The track is nice, with good finishes and good materials. In some places we see as we are in the presence of a complete of "big production" and lack some finishes typical of niche products. Is not present, for example, a protection for the zip of the jacket, we at the beginning, the end. The overalls are made with less anatomical cuts, absent, for example, an anatomical conformation of the knee. Even the fabric seems more rugged than other products, however, the essential and fundamental things we are all where it counts and product quality is all. In some respects, then, we find optimal solutions and not taken from the competition, like the two back pockets no zip, associated with the large pocket with a zip, or setting the wrists. The cut is full of anatomical detail and is well worth a careful measurements before purchasing in practice in the classical measure L, the overalls seem narrow and wide legs of life, while the jacket is just the shoulders and arms, but broad life. Is not a complete buy online trusting the usual measure. The dressing is facilitated by the zip at the bottom of the pants and adjustable wrist. The silicone, associated with elastic ensures a perfect fit and stable body. Excellent possibility to regulate the wrist, so you can wear better and remove his jacket. If the exterior of the fabric is a bit rough or not as soft as other competitors, the interior is comfortable and warm. In the saddle you very much appreciates the quality of the end plate, a real surprise, is comfortable, cushions well and is also suitable saddles very hard and never hinders the ride. The stability of overalls is good and you feel that is achieved with less seams, which is visible from a firm when there are multiple folds and swelling of the tissues than other products. In the saddle, however, everything disappears and it works perfectly. Even the jacket can stand still in place and with the rubber bands, silicon, a high neck and the regulation of wrist, island perfectly cold. The thermal insulation of the track is really good in absolute terms. Also tested with very low temperatures are always manages to have a micro climate ideal. Even the wind resistance is excellent, so you can go downhill without experiencing discomfort or a reduction of body heat. Even at very low temperatures does not serve the classic cape against the wind down, a behaviour, we repeat, excellent. The breathability of the fabric is good, not excellent, slightly less than rivals, but more than compensated by the ability to cover and keep warm on the cold outer island to perfection. The pockets are used with excellent facilities and is the solution of the two small pockets without zipper, you can place objects easier to use, leaving the large pocket for bulkier things. The front pocket is just as useful. In the Conclusions we find it a very suitable track for all those who suffer from very cold or living in areas where the winter temperature is very low. The thermal comfort level is really high, as is the case-back quality, resistance to wind and some solutions as various settings or the wide availability of pockets, all easily accessible to all. The weight of both the jacket that the overalls, comes under the rule of winter clothing. The only defect in may exist in a particular anatomical cut that may not suit everyone. The lower breathability of the fabric, however, is not a problem and is balanced by the excellent thermal insulation. The price of overalls is about 147 Euro, the jacket costs around 179 Euro. The price of overalls is superior to that of many competitors, the meter jacket has a lower price, total price overalls+jacket is lined with competitors, but we would have expected a more competitive price, given that the items are not Made in Italy.
