Elite was founded in Fontaniva at the end of 1970 on the initiative of Amerigo Sartore, the first production was focused on training rollers and carrier. The Elite’s range

Elite is engaged in various sectors of industry cycle. Nauture Bottle is the first biodegradable bottle made by Elite. The need was to meet the demands of environmentalists who had rightly pointed out during the races as many cycling bottles were thrown at the edge of the road without being collected, perhaps by some fan, polluting the land. Elite engineers have developed a biodegradable polyethylene food to 100% and in turn produced with recycled material. The entire bottle, cap and body is achieved with this material that has contact with the soil microorganisms will degrade completely in about 12 months, turning into water and carbon dioxide. It 'good to note that the normal usage in no way affects the integrity and longevity of the bottle, because the microorganisms that can attack and digest the polymer chain of the bottle are only in the ground. Thus the bottle Nature Bottle you can easily wash and use as all the other bottles in PET, for example, can be washed in washing dishes, with a decline over time, completely equal to traditional products. The bottle for the moment, is marketed in a classic format with a diameter of 74 mm, height 200 mm (the same measures to other products Elite) and a capacity of 550 ml. The stated weight is 68 grams, while we never have collected 72, with our instrumentation. One, for the moment, colour, white and green. (but ours is a preview, it is said that will not be produced in other colours).

It is not that out of a bottle you should try who knows what, especially when it comes to a product as claimed Elite. Actually we wanted to test this innovative product to see if, in practice, we felt were the differences and sensitive than other conventional bottles. We begin by saying that from an aesthetic point of view, graphics aside, the bottle is indistinguishable from other products Elite, same shape, same size. Even to touch the differences are blurred, because the weight is the same compared to PET bottles and also in the consistency of plastic is the same. As usual practice, the double opening of the cap that allows quick filling of the bottle. The standard sizes allow perfect placement of the leads in the traditional bottle. What is more important, however, is that the new material which is made is totally indistinguishable from traditional Pet, the liquid does not take bad tastes or smells. Normal view certification for food use of the new biodegradable plastic, but never take anything for granted! Instead, even with the heat, it is impossible to experience differences in taste and flavour of the contents of a bottle of traditional and new bottle Nature Bottle. Even all the functionality of that is the same, we refer to the ease of opening thereof and the soft plastic that allows a secure grip, but also to tighten the bottle to eject the fluid faster. In use, then intense that we did, with continuous and frequent washing, even wash dishes, we did not detect any early sign of wear or more fragile than the traditional products. There has been lacking, however, the time to see if it is truly biodegradable, but we could not wait a year to write this article.

The new Nature Bottle is really a good innovation. In practice it is indistinguishable from a traditional bottle, but has the advantage of being built with recycled materials and is completely biodegradable. Its function, like the other Elite products, it is beyond dispute. For this reason we believe that its use should be encouraged at the most, especially in competitions, where it is natural for an athlete to throw away the empty bottle. A amateur its use is justified by the fact that sooner or later, all renew our bottles park and its bio degradability easy disposal. The only "flaw" is that for the moment is available only in white-green colour, we hope that the first Elite broaden the list of available colours.
