Gaerne G. Eva are shoes specifically designed for women and the ergonomics of the female foot. They are available in the one white with pink inserts you see in the picture, in two versions: with sole or sole Silver Carbon Sole Sole Evolution White, the model being tested. The sizes available are 39 to 42, with the sole carbon and sizes from 37 to 42 for the sole Evolution Sole outsole can accommodate all types of studs and is provided with benchmarks, the cleat, rubber anti slip is not interchangeable. Road test

Shoes Gaerne G. Eva are well made, with an upper that has very few seams, from the surface brilliant, perfectly pierced. Excellent interior, well kept and perfect heel. Too bad, after all, there are many numbers available (may be Gaerne has focused more on numbers required), especially for the version with carbon soles. Excellent system closed, with particular reference AICS, which is fully adjustable, so as to be perfectly in the center of the instep. Excellent also the functionality of two straps with Velcro. Still excellent and padded tongue pierced. Pity that the cleat is not interchangeable, at least in the version tested. The positioning of the cleats is good, but the reference points on the soles are not very effective because, as tradition Gaerne, places too little outside of the sole. The fit is perfect and the interior comfort of a unique, due to the soft upper interior and the same soft, comfortable and, ultimately, made with quality materials. The closure of the shoe is easy, but extremely efficient. Without tighten the shoe the foot is very firm, especially well retained within the heel of the shoe; forging strong three straps the containment of the foot is more effective and able to meet the most demanding cyclists. The type of upper used, the inside of the shoe and the tongue mean that even with straps close to the maximum comfort remains at a high level and do not feel discomfort in your feet even after several hours. This closure effectively have a positive impact also on the containment side of the foot which in fact is more than excellent, so that even spriters can find the shoe very effective and competitive. Excellent, with these circumstances, the containment of the foot in the process of pulling the pedal with the heel very firm and the top of the shoe that can well contain the foot and the pedal take up. Also good ventilation of the foot, but  miss aeration holes. The sole on test available to us, did not appear rigid, and, obviously, in comparison with the carbon soles, and with other similar shoes. In general it is a sole from the average stiffness, which can meet the cycle tourists and how many are not active at a competitive level. The strongest and most demanding athletes will stay in the right complement carbon sole of a shoe almost perfect. Shame about the weight, high and superior to all competitors, the only real new to this model, very successful. In conclusion, a good shoe for comfort and containment of the foot, with good ventilation and stiffness of the sole. Fit to bicyclists and to agonists that will find the version with a carbon-soled shoe practically perfect. The price is about 121 Euro for the version being tested and about 154 Euro for the version with carbon soles. Considering the realization Made in Italy, more than good prices and good performance compared to emerge, many competitors are more expensive and are not made in Italy or do not have the same performance.
