Big news for 2011 from Garmin, the new Edge 800. The new GPS itself combines many features of the models 705 and 500. It's new, much more compact on the Edge 705 and slightly larger than 500, against which the map display and has all the features of your 705. Entirely new mode of navigation, now possible with the touchscreen and the new 2.6-inch screen (compared to 2.2"of 705). Increased navigation map, with the possibility of using all resources available from Garmin, as TrekMap Italy, software Bascamp, Custom Maps and Birdseye. remains compatible with popular detection power and all functions as a virtual partner that earned the 705, is now available in multiple detection of the external temperature (as on the Edge 500).

In addition to this news was presented a portable battery, Syntace, that can be mounted on a bike and allows a longer range of the various GPS bike. Confirmed Models Forerunner 305 and 310TX, specific for triathlon and multi sports.
