A good winter clothing high visibility

Mavic has completely renewed its range of high visibility clothing: all are now called Vision, a complete range of high visibility both for summer and winter. The new Vision range is complete, with clothing for summer and winter. Many of these were already present in the 2010 collection, the Vision H2O Jacket 2011, for example, is the Flash Jacket's 2010 collection. The collection Mavic Vision 2011 consists of: Vision Jersey (short-sleeved summer shirt), Vision Vest (waistcoat anti wind), Vision H2O Jacket (anti rain jacket), Vision Jacket (jacket with long sleeves), Vision Glove (gloves), Vision Arm Warmer (sleeves). All have the European certification EN 1150 CE, stating that the garments comply with European rules on high-visibility clothing. Recall that in many countries such clothing are required. The jacket Vision H2O is made of fabric Hard Rain, a 100% waterproof fabric, the number of reflective material inserts and unique color, soft-focus high-visibility orange. Internally, all seams are taped to make the jacket truly waterproof. The interior is fitted with a mesh lining. Will include a rear pocket, divided into three parts, provided with waterproof zipper. The closure can be used, leaving it open, even to improve the ventilation of the jacket; present, however, a large rear opening for the ventilation, of course, protected by water seepage. The wrist is closed with Velcro. The elastic on the hem ensures a perfect seal. The long front zip is waterproof. The back is long and well to cover his back. Available sizes range from XS to XXL. In size L has a weight of 330 grams, as measured by us. In addition to Vision Mavic belong to the collection, this jacket is also part of the other collection Rain Ride, a series of garments 100% waterproof, perfect for winter training in difficult weather situations.

The road test

The Mavic Vision H2O jacket, as the entire collection of Mavic clothing, is perfectly realized. Mavic at the moment is the only clothing company to have a complete collection of clothing, high visibility, regular CE certified, and a collection of clothing really 100% waterproof. The size is perfect, corresponding to the normal European measures, and easily identified using the evaluation form also present on the Mavic site that explains how to best find the correct size of clothing according to morphological measures. Excellent internal taping all the seams, the sealing system of the wrists, very effective, and the cut of the jacket. This allows a good adherence to the body, with a long back, covering his back and a good closing very effective. Excellent the neck, high and covered with fabric very comfortable. Also useful are roomy back pockets, it is accessed through a single zip that makes them waterproof, but in the absence of rain can be left open allowing for good ventilation of the jacket. The waterproof fabric has a good consistency, smooth outside, it is very soft inside and the addition of perforated mesh lining increases further the level of comfort. The closure of the jacket is easy, but above all effective. The neck is high, the wrists close very well and the elastic on the bottom of the jacket closes perfectly the body, keeping water and air. Perfect and the visibility is very effective in all conditions, a plus not just for its own security and can not be matched with other products. The effectiveness of the jacket is perfect for isolating the wind coldest days and excellent in the rain, light is stronger than that, where the coating is really full, even after several hours. It is not a breathable jacket, but it is designed and intended to be used with a cold climate and the rain does not create discomfort or special in any way affect athletic performance. With warmer temperatures and no rain can leave open the rear zip allowing sweat to evaporate. In order to prolong the life of the jacket is important to follow the washing instructions. Our advice is to only wash in cold water and hand soap, being careful to do as little as possible on the seams so as not to ruin the taping which makes them waterproof. In our tests, however, the jacket has proved very reliable, even after several washes, just have the right care. It dries very quickly. A perfect jacket, then, for winter training, in adverse weather conditions, which provides thermal comfort and protection from rain and high total. The visibility is excellent passive and CE on high-visibility clothing is another perfect element to ensure better visibility and safety in the days when visibility is poor. The price, on line, about 121 Euro is very competitive, given the excellent features of the jacket and its ability to significantly increase driving safety. Findings that can be extended to the rest of the Mavic range vision, which has a perfect set of clothes and essential for the safety of the cyclist who wants to train even in winter, and safely without sacrificing the comfort of being warm and dry.
