The new range Mavic clothing

The new Mavic clothing range is comprehensive and designed for use in road and mtb. In each item is certain to reduce weight, improve breathability, comfort and the absence of constraints that could in some way reduce the efficiency of cycling. The product range is designed both for man and for women, for summer and winter use.

The test: Infinity and Helium Jacket

Road test

The new Infinity impresses for its lightness, each piece is very lightweight and features a fabric very soft and comfortable. The gloves are very minimal and with a palm with minimal padding. Thicker socks, weight not as content as the rest of the full. Helium jacket surprised by the weight and small footprint. The dressing is easy, but you must be careful because the sizes, at least for shorts and T-shirt, size L does not seem to match the L of the others producers. The jacket is just the most abundant size and slip of salopettes longer than others achievements. It will be good carefully measure the clothes before purchasing. The soft tissue helps to increase comfort and pleasure to see how the string salopettes not on thighs so annoying. The mesh is characterized by the various pockets to easily go to all, the optimal solution of the closed inside pocket with zip and waterproof, good place for safe money and documents. The gloves have the sole defect in the palm of your hand slightly padded, it must be used with fold with good tape, or with good knobs in Mtb, many otherwise transfer vibration to the hand and tired soon. However, even in this case, the ventilation is excellent, as is useful for inclusion in microfiber to dry the sweat. The socks are very comfortable and soft, but we would still prefer more thickness, as might be too thick in the warmer days. Helium water resistant jacket is another winning product, light has the advantage of also occupy very little space and is easily placed in the back pocket of the mesh. It wears easily and has a good seal in the rain, but it is also helpful not to have long runs in the cold. Useful, as always, the back pocket closed by zip. Little influence, however, the holes made to allow a minimum of ventilation.

Conclusions

Mavic with this complete Infinity seems to have reached the target. Light, finished with care and very breathable offers excellent comfort over long distances. The overalls and the shirt does not have defects and are ideal for the cyclist to the weight as close to one more concerned with comfort and practicality. The gloves are lightweight and very breathable, but not as comfortable as other items of greater weight. The socks, however, are comfortable, but not so light. Finally, the excellent resistant jacket, lightweight and practical, is easily placed in a pocket and protects from the wind as well from the rain. The look is classic and is adaptable to any condition, passing hardly old fashion. Finally, a very good complete.
