RCS Sport has selected the 14 teams that will compete in this year’s Strade Bianche race on the spectacular dirt roads of Tuscany. The race will be held on Saturday March 3, starting in Gaiole in Chianti and ending in the breathtaking Piazza del Campo in the centre of Siena. 7 UCI Pro Teams and 7 UCI Professional Teams have been invited, with each team consisting of eight riders.

This year marks the sixth edition of the Strade Bianche race. However it already has a prestigious list of former winners, including Philippe Gilbert, who won in 2011:

This year the Strade Bianche race will be broadcast live on television to better show the spectacular racing on the dirt roads of Tuscany.
