CompetitionsQuick-Step Cycling Team to Tirreno-Adriatico
The 2011edition of the Tirreno Adriatico starts on Wednesday from Marina di Carrara. It's seven days of race for seven stages. The first is a team time trial and the last is an individual time trial and in between there will be stages for both, sprinters and climbers, for a total 1075 km. "We're lining up for the start of this race with a competitive and motivated team" explains Sporting Director Davide Bramati "In the sprint we'll be counting on important athletes like Boonen, Chicchi and Ciolek but we also have riders who can do well in stages that are altimetrically more challenging, who may end up in the high ranks of the general standings."
