On the eve of the first stage was, as always, an eventful day for the mechanics of the teams. All have taken apart and checked the bike, including time trial. All bikes were washed, replaced the tubes and prepare the spare wheels. Front and rear derailleurs have been carefully reviewed, lubricated and synchronized. Attention to the pedals, cranks and chains. The brake pads were replaced and carefully centered. Also checked and prepared the sprocket stock, ready for rapid replacement. Obviously check all screws and cables lubricated. The time trial bikes have been refined in the positioning of the seat and controls, according to the instructions of the athletes returned from the last workout. In addition to the bike actually used, were also arranged and reviewed all the spare bike. It is not cleaning the truck, buses and cars. Case presentation of the teams in Turin city center operations development have had to stop and then return late in the evening. The mechanics did "night" to finish to fix everything.
