F.I.V. Edoardo Bianchi S.p.a. will open 2011 with an exciting new opportunity to relaunch the legendary Chiorda brand. Born in the 50’s, Chiorda is one of the most historical Italian brand in the cycling sector and it has a long and successful racing activity under its belt, from 1963 to 1972.

Bianchi and Chiorda were once partners together in cycling and now Bianchi will bring the famous Chiorda brand back to a new life. When you think about Chiorda your mind goes to Felice Gimondi’s first days in professional racing and his early victories on a Chiorda at the Tour de France, Giro d’Italia, Vuelta a Espana and Paris-Roubaix, to name a few. Italian Marino Basso claimed his Road World Champion title on a Chiorda bike in 1972.

Chiorda has had a very long and successful history and it is a privilege for Bianchi to now offer this brand again in the market.
