Today, the commercial director of the Pro Team Astana, Dr. Aidar Makhmetov and Executive Director of the Cycling Federation of Kazakhstan, Chaizhunussov Allen, discussed with Andrey Kashechkin in Monaco.

"We would be glad that Andrey Kashechkin sign a contract as soon as possible with the Astana team, said Dr. Makhmetov, he would ride for free the 2011 season with us and be engaged for 2012 and 2013."

"It's a great day in my cycling career, said Andrey Kashechkin, I really want to return to the Astana team. I am Kazakh and this team is built to represent our nation, and I am proud of my country, that's why it's important to me. There are still points to discuss and I will sign a contract soon with the team. My first race should be the Vuelta Espana, where I target the Top 5 in the overall standings."
