Cycling Pro Road & MtbQuick-Step Cycling Team to the upcoming race
Quick-Step Cycling Team will be hard at work on Sunday, August 21, on the German roads of the Vattenfall Cyclassics Hamburg, one of the races on the World Tour calendar. "The race route is for fast wheels," explains Sports Director Wilfried Peeters. "This is why we're lining up Chicchi and Ciolek for the start. The team will mostly be counting on them for the sprinting arrival which historically is the most probable outcome in this race; the other guys will be riding in their support. The brief uphill in the final will be selective and should put the best athletes in place for the sprint. For Ciolek it's a home race on a route suited to him and on which he could achieve an important result." On Friday, August 19, a selection from the team will also be busy in Holland for the Dutch Food Valley Classic – Veenendaal.
