Cycling Pro Road & MtbCérvelo TestTeam Race Preview
While the Vuelta a Espana is in full swing the Cervélo women’s team are racing at the Holland Ladies Tour and the time trial competition Memorial Davide Fardelli in Italy. Women’s Team All eyes are now on the World Championships next month and the six Cervélo riders will use the Holland Ladies Tour for their preparation. The Tour takes place from 31st August to 5th September and includes seven stages. As always, it is expected to be a fast competition. The course is varied with some flat stages, typical for Holland, one stage is a short time trial and some stages will include some shorter hills. For the Cervélo TestTeam riders the tour is well known. Kirsten Wild (NED) for example was second last year and Charlotte Becker (GER) won the overall tour in 2008. Carla Ryan (AUS) will use another competition for her World Cup preparation by competing in the time trial race Davide Fardelli, a memorial race in honour of the late Italian cyclist Davide Fardelli. The sixth edition of the 25 km race, will take place in Rogna, in the Bergamo region.
