Cycling Pro Road & MtbCanadian ProTour Races suit BMC Racing Team well
Expectations are high for the BMC Racing Team at the Grand Prix Cycliste ProTour Quebec-Montreal with a roster that includes former world champion Alessandro Ballan and U.S. national champion George Hincapie. Hincapie's return The one-day races Friday (Quebec City) and Sunday (Montreal) feature challenging, technical circuits that suit the three riders the BMC Racing Team will support: Ballan, Karsten Kroon and Mauro Santambrogio. "A reasonable expectation would be to win one of the two races and have a guy on the podium both days," Assistant Director Michael Sayers said. Hincapie is competing in a major race for the first time since a crash Aug. 19 at the Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah.
