Cycling Pro Road & MtbCervelo TestTeam Race Preview
Though the World Championships start next week not all Cervélo TestTeam riders are focused on them. A squad from the men’s team will take part in the Tour de Vendée next Sunday, September 26th. Men’s Team The 39th Edition of the Tour de Vendée will take place in the central western part of France. The one-day-race moved this year in the UCI calendar from May to September and is now classified as a category 1. HC. Starting in the village of Montaigu the 206 km race will finish on a circuit inside the town of La Roche-sur-Yon. Thor Hushovd (NOR) won the race in 2004. This year Hushovd is concentrating on the World Championships but still Cervélo TestTeam will be at the start with a strong team around Heinrich Haussler (AUS) and Davide Appollonio (ITA) that is highly motivated for the final autumn races.
