The Belgian firm DCM becomes sponsor of Vacansoleil Pro Cycling Team

Daan Luijkx, manager of the Vacansoleil Pro Cycling Team and De Ceuster Meststoffen (DCM) came to an agreement last week . With this deal DCM connects itself to the leader in the Europe Tour. The cycling team and DCM signed a contract for a period of three years.

The Vacansoleil-team is active in the peloton since 2009 . The young formation has the ambition to grow to the Pro Tour in 2011 and prolonged the sponsor contract with main sponsor Vacansoleil earlier this year. By attracting a second name sponsor the team is even more confident towards the future. Daan Luijkx; “The team and DCM are growing quickly and want to stimulate the growth of both companies with this cooperation. The international character of the team fits the market of this company and DCM is very innovative in his branch. That they consider the team a good marketing tool is a compliment for the achievements of the cyclists, staff and for the ambitions of the main sponsor Vacansoleil in the past one and a half years.

The experiences of Vacansoleil have been partly a reason for the choice of DCM. The products of DCM and Vacansoleil are just like bikes which also stand for enjoying the outdoor life. The family De Ceuster is very undertaking and ambitious and they underline the team spirit.

Tom De Ceuster, the CEO of DCM, is very excited about the upcoming cooperation:
