"It’s been a really unlucky year, first with the accident and fall in the Brabantse Pijl and than with this mononucleosis virus I have not been able to give continuity to my season - explains Davide Malacarne, who in 2010 however managed to stand out by winning a stage in an important Pro Tour race like the Volta a Catalunya -. Now the most important thing is to recuperate as soon as possible so I can start preparing in the best way possible for the 2011 season, in which I want to reinvent myself, working as best I can for the team and trying to build something important."
