Alejandro Borrajo of the Jamis/Sutter Home Men’s Cycling Team presented by Colavita sprinted to victory in stage four of the Tour do Brasil Volta Ciclista de Sao Paulo-Internacional 2010.

The only US team competing in the UCI 2.2 nine-stage race, Jamis/Sutter Home recovered from bad luck in the early stages with textbook form in the road race from Rio Claro to Indaiatuba. As Directeur Sportif Sebastian Alexandre explains, “Tyler Wren, Andy Guptill, and Nick Frey set a perfect lead-out for Alejandro Borrajo and his brother Anibal. Anibal jumped with 500 meters to the line, giving Alejandro a free and safe path to the finish.”

Anibal Borrajo made his own podium appearance the next day, finishing second in the stage five road race.

Racing continues in Brazil through October 24th.
