Next Tuesday, February 23rd, the Quick Step riders  will be busy doing reconnaissance on the route of Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, the race scheduled for Saturday, February 27th that will officially open the 2010 Belgian Professional Calendar.

The riders will start from the Hotel Holiday Inn U.Z. in Gent at 9:45 am, and will ride for about 150 km covering the key passages of the race.

Dries Devenyns, Kevin De Weert, Stijn Devolder, Kevin Hulsmans, Nikolas Maes, Kevin Van Impe, Andreas Stauff, Wouter Weylandt, Jurgen Van De Walle and Maarten Wynants will be taking part in the reconnaissance,  headed by Sports Directors  Rik Van Slycke and Wilfried Peeters.

At the end of the day, around 4:30 p.m. after the training session, attending journalists will get the chance to meet and interview the team’s riders.

Tom Boonen and Sylvain Chavanel will not be present.
