Cycling Pro Road & MtbBMC Racing Team: aggressive strategy planned for Tirreno-Adriatico
With no time trial and absent a sprinter on its race roster, the BMC Racing Team has an aggressive strategy planned for Tirreno-Adriatico. Three Pivotal Days The seven-stage, 1,247 km Italian race begins Wednesday in weather that is expected to be downright cold. BMC Racing Team Director Sportif John Lelangue said that will be one of several challenges. "I think there are three difficult stages - 4, 5 and 6 - which are a little bit more hilly and selective. Knowing there is no time trial this year, every stage will be a little bit tricky." Alessandro Ballan was third overall in this race in 2006.
