Kroon Experienced at Flèche Brabanconne

Karsten Kroon will lead the BMC Racing Team Wednesday at Flèche Brabanconne. The Dutchman has finished in the top five of the Belgium semi-classic four times in the past five years.

Different Route This Year

Kroon's best placing at Flèche Brabanconne is runner-up in 2006, to go along with three fifth-place finishes (2009, 2007, 2005). But a change to the route of the 200 km race makes this year's edition more unpredictable, BMC Racing Team Director Sportif John Lelangue said. "I don't know what to expect, but it's always a kind of race where a little break gets going and there is a selection," Lelangue said. "I think this will be good preparation for Karsten for the Amstel Gold Race."
