Marinheiro placed fourth at the Portuguese Championship

Following Stephane Tempier’s third place at the French XCO Championship in Val d’Isere on Saturday July 17, TX Active-Bianchi was close to another podium position at the Portuguese Championship on Sunday 18. Youngster Ricardo Marinheiro (19 year-old) finished a close fourth in the Under 23 event held in Seia.

Looking back to the Italian Championship in Torre Canavese - Turin (North-Eastern Italy), Under 23 reigning Champion Cristian Cominelli didn’t manage to confirm his national title. Unfortunately Cominelli (who won the U-23 cycle-cross Italian Championship in 2010) suffered a bad day in Turin due to physical problems and was forced to withdraw after the first half of the race. The victory went to Samuele Porro with Ragnoli in second and Kerschbaumer in third to round out the podium.
