Portuguese Marinheiro takes win on home soil

19 year-old Ricardo Marinheiro claimed his second win of the season in Via Longa, Portugal, on Sunday July 25. TX Active-Bianchi’s biker, who recently placed fourth at the Under 23 national Championship, brought Bianchi a solo victory on home soil after a 1h 59’ tough race with very hot temperature (40 degrees).

Whilst Marinheiro was celebrating his win in Portugal, French Stephane Tempier took the 17th position at the UCI World Cup Round-4 held in Champery, Switzerland. Tempier performed a solid and regular race and thanks to his placement moved to 15th overall.

Looking back to North of Italy, Cristian Cominelli and Julio Caro finished in the first thirty position at the 13th Lessinia Bike in Sega di Ala (Trento), whilst Junior Edoardo Togni achieved a new victory in his respective series at the 7th Farno Bike in Bergamo.
