Q&AMeasure for a Cannondale Caad10
Hello, now I have a Gios with measures 58 vert. x 57 horiz.; measured center/center for me is perfect. With planned purchase of another bike and having fallen in love with me Cannondale Caad10 arose a doubt and that is why I ask you kindly to advise me. The Cannondale Caad10 have 56 vert. X 57.5 hor. center/center which I think is too little, or 58 vert. x 59 orizz. center/center. Advancing of 10 mm. the saddle and using a stem to the handlebar by 10mm. compensate for the shorter 20 mm more than the size of the tube but do not know if this is a good solution. I really hope that you can help me. Signed letter
The measure you have identified is not very accurate, is too large to fit your size requires an stem too short. Also, if your current bike has correct measurements, it can certainly move the seat of 10 mm, without having a knee too far forward to the axis of the pedal. So I think you can rule out with absolute certainty that the size 58 would fit or be adapted so profitable. Between the two key measures is preferable to get closer to the size of the tube. So what is the measure 56x57.5 most closely to their needs, the only difference from his current bike will be greater than the height of the seat tube, but all in all, the lesser of two evils and in many cases tried to get more aggressive aesthetic. Remember also that many professionals prefer to run with a smaller frame, for increased rigidity and less weight. In conclusion, I believe that without a shadow of a doubt its ideal fit for both the Caad10 56.
