Deda Presa RHM is a crease in carbon outlet airfoil. Available in two versions, natural or white carbon, has a new ergonomic RHM, Rapid Handle Movement, which allows an easier and faster moving of hands at the various positions of the curve.

With a new definition of the values of reach and drop (depth and height of the curve) and a different design of the radius of the curve, we obtained a more comfortable and exceeded the limits of traditional anatomical folds, where you can one hand position. Now with a continuous incremental radius for the hand to the fold challenge from several points, giving the best comfort and the right angle of the elbow and the correct and natural support of the palm of your hand. The new reach is 75 mm, against the usual 86 millimeters, while the drop is 127 millimeters, values much lower than before, with less distance between high and low grip. Present the internal cable. The sizes available are 42, 44 and 46 (values outside-outside). The declared weight is about 209 grams, in size 42 of we have detected 225g.

Road test

Deda Presa, which completes the range so far tested (ZeroNero and SuperZero) is achieved impeccable. Perfect paint and easy assembly. Driving appreciates the proper size of the airfoil, not particularly strong and able to accommodate medium-small hands, allowing always a firm grip and secure. The new conformation of the radius of the fold and the values of height and depth of it, in fact lead to a better transition between the different handles possible, but above all a more reliable and comfortable grip. With low hands on the handle levers are at your fingertips and control always secure the reduced depth and height can stay with the body slightly more than usual, reducing the cervical lordosis and the load transfer on the wrists. This equates to a better comfort over long distances, but who prefers a "stretched" position must include an attack longer than about 1 centimeter to find the "old" position. Even with his hands on the handle high, close to the controls, the comfort is excellent. The rigidity of the fold is a test of speed and powerful united stem ZeroNero, is a set sure to satisfy both users more powerful and demanding. Excellent also the ability to filter hits the ground and ensuring optimal comfort. Compared to the handlebar integrated Alanera RHM, you gain weight while the stiffness remains integrated for the benefit of the fold as well as comfort. To report that to maximize the most light weight and rigidity to the jack should be combined attack Zero 100 Servizio Corse, renouncing a bit of comfort, but even more by reducing the weight of the drive, increasing its rigidity. With the handlebar Presa we tested also Deda tape provided a multitude of colours, perforated or not, has proved a reliable product quality and resistance, ensures a sure grip, absorbs sweat well and cleans easily; beautiful caps in carbon look and colours, such as Green Apple and Red. Handlebar Presa costs 239 Euro in the natural carbon version, and 255 Euro White version, but high prices are justified by a quality almost perfect. Handlebar tape is priced at about 8 Euros, a competitive price.
