Various news by Hayes in 2011. The wide range of brakes has been updated in many details, but completely unknown are the new brake Prime Pro and Prime Expert. The new braking system is characterized by the Prime possibility to adjust the braking force of the system, choosing greater scalability at the expense of power or more power at the expense of scalability. The system works by a convenient lever actuated motion, which varies the amount of hydraulic oil that is pushed by the brake lever. The smaller the quantity, the more progressive action. The two models differ in weight and consequently in the materials they are made. Prime Expert has a weight of 415 grams to 385 grams in the reduction model Prime Pro.

Was presented then a new range of discs made of two pieces, a central part that is joined to the wheel and the outside that acts pliers. This solution allows to dissipate heat better without affecting the weight, while maintaining the reliability and stopping power. The rest of the range has undergone only minor updates, including graphics, that does not alter the technical characteristics.
