On test: Michelin Pro4

Smooth and safe, it is a good product

The new range of Michelin Pro4 tires is the natural development of the Pro3, available in four different versions (Pro4, Pro4 Endurance, Pro4 Comp, Pro4 Comp Limited). The difference between the various different versions lies in the intended use, so while the version Endurance is the one most suited to rain and the long training, Comp Limited version is lighter and more suited to time trials.

Pro4 version can be viewed as the right balance between low weight, durability, grip. It’s available in sizes 700x20-23-25, while in one size 700x23 are six available colors, the 700x20 and 25, however, are available in all black. Michelin Pro4 version recommended inflation pressure is between 6 and 8 bar. The casing is nylon 110TPI, the tread is slick, with a new compound that has allowed an improvement of the rolling and cornering grip. 700x23 version has a weight of 200 grams, as observed with our instrumentation.
