One of the new Selle Italia for 2011 is the new SLR saddle Monolink Friction Free. The patented Monolink, was presented last year, but only a few months was definitely put on the market.

The system uses a new system of union between the saddle and seat post, which allows easier mounting of the seat, adjustment and greater reliability, with less chance of breaking the slide in carbon fiber. The new seatpost is very light, because of easy implementation, while allowing precise adjustment of the inclination of the saddle. Another great advantage of the seat Monolink has the greatest chance of advancement and retraction of the saddle than a traditional seatpost. The new SLR Monolink Friction Free Edition is available in Team Edition and Team Edition Flow, with hole decompression of the perineum. Both dimensions are 131x275 mm, while the declared weight is 130 and 125 grams. The cost of 195 and 203 Euro. Like all the Team Edition are available in one variant graphic white/red; hull in carbon fiber, covered with Lorica. The Monolink system promises a number of indisputable advantages, starting with the weight to go to the possibilities of adjustment and the smooth profile of the saddle.
