Technique2012 Shimano Ultegra Di2
Shimano has unveiled the new Ultegra Di2, down-grade of the Dura-Ace Di2.
The new group consists of commands, rear and front derailleur, with a simplified and more economic development to the Dura Ace Di2. The rest of the components (brakes, cranks and chain) are those of the traditional Ultegra group. The Ultegra Di2 group resumed the construction of the Dura-Ace Di2, but is slightly simplified, with only two wires instead of four in the Dura Ace Di2, aluminium levers and a slightly higher overall weight. These changes have left unchanged the functionality, but have reduced the cost of the group that now promises to slightly less than the Dura Ace traditional (in Italy the entire set should cost about 1200 Euros).
