Dahon, world leader in components for bikes, for 2011 presents a new set of components for urban mobility and characterized by a careful ergonomic study. The new line of Biologic components is designed to run perfectly in the city bikes, which have characteristics and specific needs, compared to other models. The line is not new for Dahon BioLogic, which already produced with this collection saddles and knobs, but now the line was extended to other components.

These the technical specifications of new components:

Arx Grips with T-Tool

The ergonomically designed BioLogic Arx Grips with T-Tool feature a handlebar insert with a 4/5/6 mm Allen tool so that some of the most commonly used Allen key sizes are always conveniently at hand when you need them.

Bike Mount for iPhone

The BioLogic Bike Mount lets you attach your iPhone to your bike’s handlebars so you can use a GPS app to track your position, speed, and distance, while riding.

Blast − Cycle Safety Horn

The BioLogic Blast is a safety air horn that operates on compressed air and can produce up to 115 decibels of airpiercing sound to make your presence known while cycling busy city streets.

Chime Brake Levers

The ergonomically shaped BioLogic Chime brake levers feature a cleverly integrated bell with a sweet, clear chime in order to provide loud warning to pedestrians and other bikers.

CycleTune Speakers

CycleTune speakers with PowerBoost bass technology is a personal speaker system for your bike that allows you to air your favourite tunes while cruising the strip on your two wheels. Hook it up to your iPhone, iPod or MP3 player and you have instant music during your ride.

FreeDrive

The BioLogic Free Drive encloses the bicycle chain to keep the rider’s clothing protected from grease and dirty spray, and moves with the chain, reducing chain vibration and noise.

Pollution Mask

The BioLogic Pollution Mask delivers heavy-duty pollution protection for the serious urban commuter. Two replaceable activated carbon filters scrub out noxious exhaust fumes while dual inhale ports ensure adequate airflow even when going out on a full on sprint.

PostPump

The BioLogic PostPump is an ingenious combination of a seatpost and powerful floor pump. The pump mechanism is hidden inside the seatpost and uses the seat post as the outer wall of the pump.

QuickMount Bottle Cage

The QuickMount Bottle Cage lets you add a bottle cage just about anywhere on a bike by means of a convenient Velcro system −no braze-ons necessary − and fits all standard water bottles.

ReeCharge

The BioLogic ReeCharge is a personal power system that can charge any USB-chargeable device, including iPhones, iPods, cell phones, cameras or GPS units. It incorporates a lithium polymer battery that can be charged by wall outlet, via USB from a computer, and most importantly, any bicycle with a hub dynamo.

TailLight

The BioLogic TailLight is a combination LED light and reflector that snaps onto the rails of a bike saddle, no tools required, and features both blinking and steady modes.

Vacuum Flask

The Vacuum Flask is an insulated stainless steel bottle designed specifically for standard bottle cages. A push button on the lid opens the SipSpout so it’s easy to take a quick shot at a stoplight. For hot and cold liquid refreshment.
