ARX has always characterized the attack 3T. Born for the road bike with its three versions, Pro, Team and LTD, is so reliable that it has easily passed the approvals for use in mountain biking. In the Pro version, the stem is made in the ARX 2010 and suitable for the diameter ranges from 1 inch and 1/8. The diameter of the fold should be 31.6 mm. The lengths available are 70, 80, 90, 100, 110, 120, 130 and 140 mm. The closure is made by stainless steel screws. Is declared a weight of 150 grams in size from 110 mm, we found we have 144 to 120 mm in size.

The road test

The stem ARX is perfectly done and with excellent surface finish. Excellent in the case of stainless steel screws, unlike competitors who take normal steel. Excellent range of measures available, very wide. Very easy assembly, while right-sizing of the holes allows the adoption of any type of handlebar, not only 3T. Good weight, very low, both for an stem from Mtb that road. Positive we found that the weight is less than stated, something that rarely happens. In movement there is nothing that appreciate the excellent stiffness of the stem ARX, which is able to meet every need. Always allows a perfect control of the bike and does not bend even in the most demanding uses. Its reliability and stiffness is likely to make it perfect even in Freeride. In conclusion, a stem that surprised us the weight and stiffness. The price of 40 Euros is great, considering the performance.
