Several Mavic's new for 2011. The main one is to be increased the number of wheel models to be sold alongside clincher or tubular. Mavic believes in this formula which provides for the simultaneous development of wheel and tire, so as to enhance overall performance.

It was developed a new treatment for rims, Exalith, which will allow a further weight saving at the same rigidity and reliability, also reach the wheels unpublished. They will become the new Cosmic Carbone 80, the wheels with carbon rims from 80 mm. The request will be sold with tubular wheels dedicated and the set has a declared weight of 2330 grams (1750 grams, the wheels).

The new policy also come with wheels + tires new set of Cosmic Carbone Ultimate wheels, weight for set 1765 grams (1200 grams the wheel), and Cosmic Carbone SLR. Remain the Mavic R-SYS SLR (1295 grams), but the set will be available wheel / tire for the R-SYS SL weighing 1995 grams (1370 grams, the wheels).

The rest of the range of wheels should remain unchanged.
