Two important news from 3T, though not immediately reach the market: The new crankset Meta and the new fork. The new crankset Meta is doing the last tests of reliability. The crankset has new bottom bracket with ceramic bearings and carbon fiber cranks. Crank and spider are two separate parts, so that you can change the spider and the crowns without removing the crank. The studies conducted here for the 3T's technical director, lead to rigidity in its class, weighing less than 30% compared to the best competitors (say about 550 grams). It's still at the prototype stage, but the goal is to put into production in mid 2011.

Another important innovation and new Funda fork upside ahead. Funda joins the already in use by many companies and teams, with stems aerodynamic profile, perfectly straight and thin. Significant weight reduction, with the model LTD (limited) that fall well below the 300 grams, with a tube to be cut. While the model Team is just over 300 grams.
