BMC has renewed his bike time trial and triathlon for 2012. The debut of the new bike TimeMachine TM01 2012 took place in the Tour de France. A new study has led to a new aerodynamic bike that shares with the previous model only part of the aesthetic. Improved aerodynamics and chassis rigidity. Remains the achievement and hand tailored. The new frame includes the new fork has straight stems with integrated brake V-brake and placed before the same. Increasingly, the down tube have different aerodynamic profile. Same solution for the top tube, the component that most resembles the previous model. The bottom bracket area is oversized, but not BB30. The seat tube has the classic aerodynamic profile. New rear triangle, more compact, with tubes from different profile and stiffer. The rear brake, keeps the structure of V-Brake aero and placed under the bottom bracket. Both brakes are similar to those adopted by the new Cannondale Slice 2012. The UCI regulations comply with the new bike for triathlon and time trial tests.
