A sample, called EVO, or better Cannondale SuperSix EVO has long been in the hands of the athletes in the team Liquigas Cannondale. In Liege 2011, this copy was available to Vincenzo Nibali and certainly will be the bike with which the athlete will try to point to the victory of the Tour of Italy 2011. The new Cannondale SuperSix Evo is profoundly different from the previous model and general aesthetics seems to be inspired by the Cannondale CAAD 10. All tubes of the frame has undergone a decided “down-size”, now the fork stems less impressive and very similar to those of CAAD 10. Always the short head tube, but with a smaller diameter than the well-known SuperSix and certainly has a number of different steering. Far smaller than the tube though a good size, while remaining a good size area of the central movement, always with BB30. The top tube, has the inside passage of the brake cable and a different profile. The rear triangle is characterized by very thin tubes, with the vertical ones that come together only near the orizontal tube. For the new frame is rumored to weigh around 700 grams, a value probably too short, but certainly the realistic weight of the frame should not be above 800 grams and 300 grams for the fork.
