Team Liquigas-Cannondale is testing a prototype Cannondale Synapse Hi Mod, anticipation of the new model 2012.

The definition of the new bike is substantially complete, although generally not differ much from the known Synapse, at least aesthetically general, because a careful analysis points out a complete review of the project. The new Synapse has a new fork with a different profile optimized for absorbing vibrations, the headset is 1 inch and 1/8. The head tube is long, to find a more comfortable ride and is combined with a shorter top tube, always to have a structure in the saddle more comfortable. The top tube houses the internal passage of the rear brake cable. The vertical tube has aero profile and a drop seatpost, mostly with the head from the classical round. The rear triangle is long and has been completely redesigned, while keeping the profile SAVE tubes. The BB30 bottom bracket is, as is the particular section of the oblique tube. The bike will be officially presented at the upcoming Eurobike 2011.
